Hey my names Tyler, I just recently picked up my 2013 Fz8 and I'm loving it, hoping to mod it out and can't wait to see all the tips and ideas from this forum,

Welcome! What part of Minnesota you in? My whole family is from the twin cities. Spent a bunch of time in Elk River growing up, we had a family dairy farm up there. Anyways get to reading, tons of great info around here!!!!

I'm from Sauk Centre originally and just this spring moved to Elk River.... So small world huh DJ but love the riding around here in the country anyway and heading to Wisconsin to run the river road again, anybody else riding this weekend? Weather permitting?

Well if you pass the round barn on 101, I think it is, that is my family's original farm. Family name is Lefebvre, bunch of them around Elk River. Bunch of open flat roads up there, I was just there thrashin around back in June. Will be up there again next summer. Might be able to catch up and get a ride in.

101 as you come out of Elk River south, as you go up that bridge that curves left then right, off to the right there is a new shopping center. Behind that is a large white round barn, thats it. Then if you go down to 77 i think it is, Gordy's truck and tractor repair is my uncles place, just before that is my grand fathers dairy farm (shut down now) and a half mile up the road on the left is my Uncle Lou's farm (also shut down). Crazy you are right in the midst of where I spent all my summers growing up.
