Thanks guys. Yeah, not a lot going on most of the other forums, everything just died in the last 6 months. I have been too busy to actually even keep up with them.
Cracker: Yeah still doing the retrofitting, although after stumbling on some other posts, doesn't appear that I have the best of reputations around here. I am not here to cause trouble, just wanted to join up and join in on the happenings.

Unfortunately the more that I see about previous posts that I was unable to respond about is there was a lot of confusion about my prices, and it got way out of hand. It is a shame, especially when the BKmoto kit is more, and they offer the same service that I do...for more. But eh, what can you do.

I can't remember what I said about you exactly but I know it had to do with the pricing. I think I was questioning you having high prices. Hopefully you are thick skinned as I know I didn't mean to put anyone down. I do love doing work myself when I feel capable. Glad you joined us here. I hope that you find out place is like no other. Fair warning we are a bit immature and talk a lot of shit but we are always there to lend a helping hand. |

Basically I think someone posted about a quote they received from me, and didn't read it right, because I went back and checked the quote, and what he was saying wasn't accurate. Of course I wasn't here to clear it up. No big deal, I have learned not to be bothered when people say things, because I know that our prices aren't unreasonable. I agree with you, I wouldn't pay someone to do something that I can do. That is why we offer to sell the parts to you at a discount, and offer technical support, and help when you have questions. I am not trying to make everyone pay for what we do, that isn't right. We are about awesome upgrades, whether it be us, or the customer that does the labor. So far, everything has been great here. Talking shit is just good fun right? No issues with that. Look forward to getting to know everyone, and please I welcome anyone to ask me any questions about anything really, not just retrofitting. |

That would be me you're mentioning. After re reading it I did see where I had misconstrued the quote. Anyways I just went ahead and did it myself and it turned out to be a HUGE pain in the ass because from what you were telling me the idiots at TRS are shipping out projectors that are too big for most motorcycle headlights in the "motorcycle kit" and they refuse to listen to you. It's all good though and I finally got it to work and aimed right with some jerry rigging. I might eventually tear it back down some day and cut that big silicone washer down so it fits better and has the right angle instead of pointing down. I will definitely give you credit for giving me advice when I contacted you even after deciding not to go with your services. Welcome to the best FZ8 site out there. |
