Hey everybody,
My name is Eduardo, I am 44 years old. I live in Bartlett, Illinois which is about 45 minutes N.W from Chicago. I've been riding motorcycles since I was 12 years old. I've had several sports bikes along the years(last one was a 2005 Kawasaki ZX6R). Even though I love sport bikes, I am getting older and my back couldn't handle riding the ZX6R for more than a couple of hours, so I started looking into a street fighter bike last year. I am extremely happy I checked out FZ8 because it is just an amazing motorcycle. I bought a new 2012 on April of last year and I have 4500 miles on it. So far, the only mods I've done are fender eliminator and Yoshimura slip on exhaust.
Also, I am a member of the 779 forum, but a member(Keach) told me about this forum..so here I am!
Hopefully there are some more riders in the area so we can head out for a ride one of this days!

Welcome to our little house of mods. Ask questions if you can't find it because the search function is shit. We are just a bunch of raunchy riders except for a couple of Texans who have questionable habits.

Welcome to the craziness. Be weary and cautious when speaking with the mid-westerners like Kansas. They tend to marry their sisters and have been known to be their cousin's grand father. Kansas usually greets people with "I'm going to make you squeal like a pig boy," probably learned that from his grand pappy that was his first cousin too.

Just so you know, you are in the heart of FZ8 country, you have more 8's around you than anywhere. Almost too many to count but we got 7 of us together this summer, and we were missing a few then.
I'm just up the road in Madison and visit Doom, Trixter and Mansack often.
