just wanted to take a few minutes to introduce myself. my name is dustin and i live about an hour south, southeast of st louis missouri. i just recently became a fz8 owner and i must say, not being on a bike for over 15 years, this thing is freaking awesome. dont know why i have the only one around. at least i dont know of any yet. it only took a week to start modifying this thing. only cuz it took that long to get the part shipped. i did the integrated led taillight, made the fender eliminator/license bracket myself, installed some blue leds, and i am currently working on a more comfortable rear seat for my wife. more mods are sure to come soon. i look forward to meeting and chatting with you all. this seems like an awesome group.

Welcome aboard. Are you building the rear seat yourself or looking at other options to purchase?

thanks. im building myself. im a diy kinda guy. a coworker gave me his seats off his harley. i was just going to use the harley passenger seat, but its not working like i want. so im moving onto the bigger harley seat. the plan is just to get my rear seat more level and add padding to the rear part where there is practically nothing. really tired of the wife smashing me into the tank when i hit the brakes.

So ask anything you want, no one here will give a shit if its already been asked...oh, if you have kids, don't let them fucking see this...a bunch of fuckers on here like to swear. Apparently they think its fucking cool or something....cunts

Welcome from KC, You are the third rider from St.L area. We have a couple in the Springfield area and me on the Kansas side of KC. We definitely need to have a central meet. There is even an Okie that is not far away. There are some nice two line roads in that area.

He was the one caught on film holding hands and changed the color of his forks to used tampon red.

just because you have to hide the flavor of the meat with all kinds of sweet sauce doesn't mean you can't BBQ it just means you don't know what BBQ is

Cool well hopefully your modifications work, if not dirtroadeddie from the fz1 forum does a really nice seat mod quite a bit cheaper than buying the aftermarket brands. The rear has way more cushion and gets leveled out a lot more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Greetings from right here in Alton, Il ! We definitely need to do a mid-west ride. I just joined the forum and it seems every week there's someone with an hour of STL.
