Whats up guys my name's Brian and i live in south florida. I recently moved here from CT about 7 months ago and I work as a welder and commercial awning installer sweating my balls off in this crazy heat but it pays good so why the hell not. Im 23 and grew up riding dirtbikes my whole life, leaving behind my crf450 in CT I decided to step it up and get my endorsement and now i'm a proud owner of a new 2014 FZ8. I already ordered a slip on exhaust, fender eliminator, and some tank pads but i'm really here to compare ideas, see the tweaks veteran owners do to increase performance, and just generally talk with some Gs that have similar interests as me. Ive been playin the drums for 13 yrs, love snowboarding, riding, fast cars and bikes, and of course girls.. btw if you ever find yourself in soflo, with the hot weather comes hot girls so hmu if you wanna come down and ill show you the good spots. Welcome Brian and congrats on the new ride! Which slip on did you order? An ECU flash and an R6 1/6 turn throttle tube is big performance bang for the buck.

Welcome! I'm 25..one of the younger on here..great fucking place to learn about your bike! Ecu flash and suspension should be at the top of your list next!
Also..not trying to start anything..but that looks like a 2013 fz8 with all the blue / purple removed...2014 was the fz09's year..so..you got the last year that the fz8 was sold in America...(unless I'm totally off and you imported it from uk and still took all the blue / purple off lol)

Welcome, buddy! i too ditched CT for a hot climate... But unlike you I don't have to worry about all that damn humidity in FL  grate on the purchase... Take care of her, and she will take care of you. |

welcome and congrats. Double check your bike year, they quit making them in 2013. The FZ09 took the place of these bikes in 2014. No worries though, if you wanna drop some cash on a bike and learn how to wrench on it you def found the right place!!!!!
