Those are pretty cool! I personally don't like the folding levers..well..my only experience is ebay levers. there is actually nothing wrong with either lever....I ordered the bike an Xmas present today! I know I know..it's addicting as fuck!!?!? the brake lever will now be a folding black one of Italian decent. A 19x18/19x20. With a black and gold billet resivoir. yes..a,brembo RCS:) i may have done it my way,,,which was more expensive...but I think I'll be on par with an r1 swap if not better......ebc contour rotors with ebc hh pads with speigler ss lines with a BREMBO RCS MASTER CYLINDER with hyperpro oil and springs and some rbf fluid although..had I not purchased a hyperpro street box...I would have been ALLL OVER THE FUCKING INSANE DEAL OF OHLINS AND ANDRENI ....o well.

Dob. Had I read your entire post.....I wouldn't sound.like an idiot. In this instance. Nice upgrade. I was going to do it a few months back but I had to divers tuns to daughter's computer. Ill do the upgrade after the new year... pictures please But of course! I ordered it last night...got a tracking # this morning..from Motomummy.com...came with a free evotech billet resivoir...tygon hose..and a mounting bracket..no tax free shipping...and got. Free resivoir sock as well. Should have sometime next week! i ran across a brembo RCS CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER...couldn't find much info on it though..you may know..what are the benefits of that, and would it go onto our bikes? Found it on Motomummy for exact same price as brake master with a free evotech resivoir as well...I have seen very few bikes that have a resivoir on the clutch side.

The clutch side is for bikes with hydraulic clutches...which ours does not have..but can be converted to..which is waaaay to much work and $ for me..mostly $. i think I found a brembo clutch perch for cable bikes..which is actually not TOOO expensive..still brembo..so still $. but the RCS 19 brakes is on the way.,will be here Tuesday....going to swap out pazzo for stock lever then remove old brake master..so..a gold brake lever from pazzo will be sitting there..(not giving away for free since they are extremely expensive levers...but will reasonably price them) if anyone cares.

Has anyone ever upgraded their clutch (springs/plates)? My bandit has an upgraded clutch and the thing just grabs so much better than the FZ8.

I knew a question was coming!! Lol..yea..DJ put a Barnett clutch in his before he sold it..pretty sure he said it was very nice and an improvement over stock..I think. Not sure if anyone else has...I'm waiting till mine goes out but I may put a oem back in..heard that the kevlar ones go quicker and are more for racing. Idk though..I stopped looking into..may start again if I need a clutch..mine is fine though..very smooth..it's all about how you use it..helps to lube the cables too.

Lol yeah. I have found clutch wheelies difficult on the fz8 compared to other bikes... not sure why. This season I will be doing a lot of maintaience on the bike... not real excited.

the Barnett clutches were a MASSIVE upgrade. That is the next thing I am doing to the 9. The difference was extremely noticeable. Grabbed when you wanted them to, no slippage, no shuttering, fuck it was totally different with good clutch packs in!!!!!!
