Nice welcome hah. I have a huge favor to ask of someone in the Chicago area. Was wondering if someone could check out the fz8 that I am looking at buying before I go all the way up there. just seeing if someone could test drive it for me make sure everything looks good and it runs like their fz8. I know it's a huge favor to ask but I'd rather not drive 4 hours to find out it has problems. Just message me if someone knows people in the area and would help out a new Comer to the fz8 family.

Damn that is sick. Did it cost you around 120$ ? Did you buy the housing from him as well ? If your asking me . . . $120 isn't even in the ballpark. It's the original housing ,but it's been modified to fit the HID projector and shroud. Then the 2 LED rings were additional, along with the "pod" light on top. Plus, the inside had to be painted. Now that the LEDs are failing, I'm being told that the new rings are more reliable but I can't have the two colors anymore. Both rings would be the same color. I still haven't made up my mind. |

Seems like a lot of money for a light fixture on the bike o.o I can't argue that. You can get cheaper versions and do the work yourself. I wanted the truly custom look and didn't trust myself to do it. If you want a HID kit to do yourself, try bkmoto. I think that's the one that Pajakrubi used. Maybe he'll chime in with his experience. |

Indeed I know the advantage as I have sold cars for 2 years recently. HID bulbs are by design leaps and bounds better.

Yes Update!! I am getting my 2011 fz8 delivered tomorrow from Chicago!!! o.o I am super pumped and most likely with have loads of questions to come soon enough for mods and things of that nature.
