Nice! I bought my 600r for 2000 put about 200 in it and sold it for 2600... And i have the tailight ready to order, i have done bar end mirrors already and a slip on yoshi exhaust ill do flush mount signals up front after i blow $95 on a friggin piece of plastic with some 10 cent diodes in it... I have a yoshi fender eliminator as well cause the stock rear fender thig BLOWS as they all do on newer bikes. I would love to change the red lights behind the tach to white to provide some contrast in the lights

The quick throttle may be a good idea! And easy. I dont think i need all the tuning and stuff though. I think all who do the tuning are crazy! The fz8 is sufficiently fast as it is, if i wanted it a whole bunch faster i would have bought a cbr or r1 or gsxr... I think 150mph is fast enough for me on a bike that doesnt have a windshield. The airbox mod sounds good because it could possibly stop the slight backfire the yoshi gives me but dont you have to cut the frame or something stupid like that?

To stop the back fire you need to plug the AIS system. Very easy, do an internet search and you will find a ton on how to plug the system. Only mod the air box if you are going to do tuning. The bike is already running pretty lean from the factory. With a slip on and air box/ filter mod you will be running super lean.
Ride it the way it is for a while, you will eventually want more torque. My bike with all the tuning and cam work I did, topped out at 125, but I guarantee I was one of the first to 100 out of all my buddies. Not much for top speed, love the torque!!!

DJ I'll look around for it, thanks man! And i have had mine up to 141 (according to the speedo) the way it is.. And i plan to move up to a 1000 after i finish college and have the cash. I really got a bike for commuting and weekend cruising anyway. Dont need to be a speedracer but i had to get it up there since it can

Flash the ECU instead of the pcv tuner. It's not all about power. It smooths out the power band and really gets rid of the choppy throttle response. It makes the bike a while lot friendlier to ride.

What does it cost to "flash the ecu"? Sorry dont know what any of that technically means... And to be honest, the fz8 (second to only the fz1) has the smoothest power of a "sport" bike i have ever seen
