It's entirely possible that mine will have failing components. I simply don't have the ability to bench test these for extended periods of times to determine longevity. However, I have done 17 sets with literally no complaints of failed components yet. My first set was on my bike for a year and nothing failed. Honestly I buy my projectors and shrouds from trs but I get the halos and other leds from different vendors. I have heard nothing but shit about the diode dynamic and morimoto halos and have nothing but great things to say about the halos I use. If anyone ever has an issue like this though I'd be more than happy to help fix it for cheap. I'm not in this for the money, I'm in it to make cool shit and to help people have cool shit for a good price. Too many retrofitters/headlight companies out there charging way too much for their stuff. I also take the guess work out of incorporating a harness and do it for my customers. I'll keep that in mind if these fail again.

Good to know...I kinda want my 90 mill halo fixed. But with xb halos, like the strips I have as well as the 120 mill halo I already have, and in a color that is legal in Cali.

Interesting wheel colours, are they a bitch to keep clean? Honestly after having them repowdered from stock black its way easier, but the six spoke is more difficult than the factory 3 spoke. These are rc51 wheels. The biggest pain was the matte pearl white fairings. Had to clean my whole bike with plexus because the matte wouldn't let go of dirt with just a rag and water. This year it's coming out a little different though

Basic = __.__ add ons = __.__ etc I think he's smart not to. Firstly, why let your competition know what your rates are. Secondly, if you make someone contact you, you right away have an in. Give you an opportunity to have a one on one with a potential client, and perhaps push the sale and secure it. When I had my towing company, I never advertized my rates. My competition did and that gave me the edge. When folks have to pick up the phone to shop around, or use my website for a quote, I was able, most of the time, to use my sales pitches to land the job. Sometimes, even if my rates were comparable. Sell the service, rather than the costs.

If you go to his website www.scotidi.com he lists some prices in the neighborhood of $400+. I don't know if this is for dual set ups or what. His prices seem to start around $300-325 for the FZ8 and go up depending on what you want done. If i was running a service doing one off builds like this, you can bet your ass that I would want to quote based on current parts availability and the complexity of the job. there is an established range here, its around $300+

sorry guys i didnt get any notifications! even downloaded tapatalk to try to stay on top of it anywho, i wont keep it too much of a secret, but the complexity of builds makes prices jump all over the place. not to mention the fact that references, shipping, urgency, etc. all make a difference in price. prices for a single setup start at 250. its dirt cheap. standard setup is blacked out, mini gatling gun shroud, 4300k 35w hid, and wiring all done. this is an insanely good deal but obviously as demand increases i will increase my prices. Im only one man as of now but working on getting more people involved. so my time is limited and how many retrofits i can do is limited. this is why price would increase, obviously im going to do the sets for people who are willing to pay more. the most important thing though is urgency. theres nothing i hate more than being rushed to do these things. I understand i have people's lights and they cant ride, but its an art form and requires patience and attention to detail. also, its not the end of the world if you miss riding for a week lol. the website is complete doodoo right now, please dont look at it haha its just up because i wanted to see it posted and have something out there but i need a solid 20 hours of work put into that thing right now. main contact should be through the facebook page or if you really want you can text me via the number on the page (not posting here because some auto page scanner will find it and blow my phone up. no joke it happens) TL,DR; Retrofit starts at 250, includes: Blacked out housing 4300K 35w HID Mini H1 projector Mini Gatling Gun shroud wiring harness modified Extras are: Shroud choice Halos Demon eyes Running light strips Yamaha tiny bulb mod thing carbon fiber backplate Color matched shroud 55w hid (not recommended for H1, but yolo. I run them) Dual halo setup (michael and alex's both dual halo on panamera shrouds) RGB halo or demon eye (Color changing) switch to control halos/demons remote to control halos/demons turn signals integrated into housing switchback turn signals (white running light, turns amber for turn signal) and on and on and on

You already have a in you do good work, let your work speak instead of a sales tactic. Prices starting at X etc. I see you've done that and I thank you

Sell the service, rather than the costs. I mainly dont post prices because I like to have the customer contact first. It allows me to establish a connection with them and let them know im not just trying to take their money. more importantly, it allows me to iron out kinks before the person places an order or tells me they want something that i cant do. I like to make each light individualized and appropriate for the owner/bike. Im not going to do a set with green halos and red demon eyes because it will look weird. im also not going to send someone a set with 4 switches to turn each halo, demon eye, running light, and headlight on separately. Its just the way it has to go. I dont think itll be able to be a just click and go operation unless i premake standard sets and people just buy them. I do enjoy the challenge of making each set different though. as someone said before, im selling a service, rather than just a good. Im selling people Scotidi, not just headlights.
