recently purchased a two brothers muffler for a 2011-2012 fz8 my 2013 heat shield does not fit
just wondering if anyone has one sitting on a shelf they are looking to get rid of

IMO. you don't really need it. I don't use one and I have 0 issues. Though, I am using a diff. slipon -- not sure how much difference that makes.

I'm with Elmo. My danmoto doesn't use one and I've never had a problem.

i know that it doesn't really do anything it's just you can see the mounting tabs on the mid pipe and it looks like something is missing
It's the only reason I'm looking for one
I could fabricate something but until then I just wana put the shield on
