I'm John. I bought an fz8 about 3 weeks ago. I'm in central mississippi. Seems like a fun bike so far. It is my first yamaha (coming from hondas).

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. It's a 2011 fz8 with a two bros slip on, juicebox pro, k&n air filter, -1 front sprocker,pilot powers ,r6 throttle tube, renthal grips, airbox mod, smoke integrated tail light, yosh fender elim kit, led front signals, and bar end mirrors. So far it's been a fun bike. I've had several sportbike and the fz8 seems be lacking in the suspension department. But I'm sure that can be cured. I've been reading into it a bit. Bike is also running pig rich.(literally spitting fuel out of the exhaust) so I've been looking at flash tunes as well. I'll try to post pics when I get to my computer, I can't figure out how to do it from my phone.lol

What map are you running? You should try the jumbo 13 map

 I put about 1000 miles on it in the first 8 days I owned it, now its been raining ever since..... as for the map. I have no idea. I've never messed with a juice box. I need to look into it and see the instructions to connect to it, and how to load a map. I can't imagine its much different than a power commander. The little (very little) research I did on the jbp , it doesn't seem to have much support. it was installed by the previous owner. as for the flash. I sent turbojoe a message on facebook to ask a few questions about it. never got a reply and couldn't find an email address to contact him either. I have been in a huge rush because I've been out of town a good bit lately. |

welcome and it seems as though you have a head start on mods, looking at your list of other bikes you may want to look into the R1 cam swap
