Woody how's the sale going? I'm still contemplating...I want to post it on Craigslist...then when I go out to take pics...I just can't do it. I will most likely have 2 bikes before I sell the 8..if I do. I'm hoping that Yamaha was ahead of its time and the fz8 will gain more popularity..most people don't even know what it is

The Fz8 will always be the unsung hero and its style will remain relavant for a long time to come. I personally appreciate the fact that I see fewer 8's than I do Lamborghini's, Ferraries and the likes. This bike has a unique personality and style. Keeping it when you decide to add another to your stable will only cost you registration, insurance and basic maintenance. Start putting what the payment will be on the next bike under your mattress. I kick myself for getting rid of several bikes. Some sucked some excelled but I miss them all. End of sappy reply...... Ride ride ride.. Lately Ive seen more lambos and ferraries than fz8s which is a bit of an anomaly...I live/work in a middle class farm community of about 20k...I've probably seen a combination of about 5 different ones this summer! Some rich ass farmer/ landowner I'd guess... Although most of the guys that are rich as fuck owning huge as farming companies drive average pickups! Maybe some new young blood.

I will try to remember to mount my camera next run up Ortega highway..most weekends there are exotics clubs driving like old ladies in their quarter million dollar dick extensions. the weekend before last was all Lambo Diablos, counted 23. At least the Porsche guys drive their machinery with purpose. We have a lot of them in the rich north shore suburbs of Chicago. They do a meet in glenview (rich as suburb), a town I almost took a job in. The town I work in now (farm town) has an annual car show of straight up American muscle. Actually a really huge awesome outdoor car show that the shut the entire downtown for. Draws over 1k cars including lots of really well done stuff.
