I have a front and rear wheel that I bought as seconds to use for the track but things have change slightly. Ill have pics of the font wheel later this week, it still have the stock tire on it with about 40% tread left. Looking to get $200 for both. Or $100 each Both wheels are spray bombed stupid colors so if you dont like the colors then just take some paint thinner and take it off.

Gettin some lightweight rims??? Getting a light weight bike for track duty just trying to free up some funds Going for a 600 or stepping up to a 1000? The guy at work that runs the tracks around here has just purchased a used Ninja 636. He has installed a track fairing on it and has done the usual mods, ECU re-flash, full header, suspension upgrades for his weight. He had been running a Ninja ZX-10 but he finds this bike less tiring. He started riding the 636 this season and is already running faster times then he could on his ZX-10. The only time he says the 10 was better was at the end of a long straight. He said he is going to upgrade the wheels and brakes this winter. He is 5'10" and right around 200lbs.

I'm stuck between buying a track buke that's already set up for CMRA racing or just tracking the 8. I might hold off on track days till I'm not in school anymore.

As long as the frames not bent it should be a good first start. If not I'll continue to look at for 600 to 750 cc light. I got murdered on the straights but then got stuck behind slows in the corner. Plus I really don't want to wad the 8 up I like it and want to keep it forever.

Look at rotors not wheels. xc are 1 lb lighter than stock. X rotor are 1.5 lbs lighter. Rotating mass is a realistic expectation. Light wheels wheels will set you back 2 K minimum. Learn to carry more speed, not.accelerate. Sorry. Not derailin a sale. Ill buy them....If you need the cash promptly. Unless you really want them I should be ok for a little bit but sooner or later it will become a room issue. Will the parts I have been ordering. I love the 8 and last thing I want to do is trash it more, plus this saves me from ripping it apart to change over each weekend. As soon as it becomes available to sign up ill be enter in for California Super bike school in May.
