Up for sale is a Shoei RF-1200 XXL helmet. About 1500 commuting miles on the lid. In great condition, no scuffs or scratches. It includes the Shoei Transition Shield which tints based on the sunlight that has a Pinlock installed (No fog ever). Asking $500 For an additional $250 I'll leave the Sena 20s Bluetooth set installed.

But I do like shoei, how is the Arai compared so far? I have owned a lot of helmets. Shoei is the most plush and quietest, it is also the first "high end" helmet I have owned. They fit well and flow great air. I love the RF-1200. The Arai however feels as though it was crafted for my exact head and face size/shape. The padding is a little coarser and at speeds its a little louder. Overall if the they got identically I'd go Shoei, but the Arai fits that much better. Once you buy a high end helmet, there is never any going back.

Bell is tough to find it seems. I use CycleGear to find many of the brands I wanted to try. This is nice because mine is an in-production model that sells for $440 for the lid and $150 for the visor.

i tried cyclegear. but they didnt have it. i was surprised and the reason i want the bell is ive seen the rs1's regularly on motorcycle closeout for around 150 as opposed to 400. and they almost always have a 2xl because not many people have a noggin that big lol. except for you and me. but like i said i dont want to buy something for that much and have it not fit. id be really pissed if that happened.

I hear ya! i love the Shoei. Fair warning, don't buy a high end helmet if your not ready to buy them every time you need a new one. I'll never go back. There is no one around me that has Bell, when i tried them on, they didn't fit my head shape.

Arai and AVG if my head shape but not my wallet. Thankfully Icon makes a decent hat and it is comfortable without breaking the bank. sent by phone because I had nothing better to do!
