At first I was like holy shit this guy thinks his bike is worth gold, but it comes out to about $6,000 USD. That's not a reasonable starting point. I bought my 2012 1 year ago for $5,500 and it's as clean as this one. Give the guy a break...
But should give anyone on the forum a bigger price break. We're forum bros.

I think it's pretty reasonable starting point considering accessories and the more desirable later model. Price has been dropped, and yes forum buyers would be looked after in negotiations. |

I have no intentions of selling the 8 as it is perfect for what I bought it for, commuting. I missed riding and was ready to get back on a bike. It had been so long since I had the Interceptor that I did not realize just how good even basic bikes had become. Ya, I have some mods and more to come but it still the bike for me. I want a dirt or an adventure ride and some thing to cover the open road. I could see a wr250, an FZ07 and or an MT-10 in my future.

If people are buying the 8s, why aren't they joining the forum? Great minds think alike! Of course we don't show up real quick on a google search because of the lock down on the site. I did a search just now on my company computer which has never been linked to this site. 779 comes up in the first 3 places then there is a site I have not seen before, FZ8forum.com. I wonder where it is from and if there is an issue as I thought Hoover had purchased all versions of the domain names he could come up with. |
