This may be a longshot, but if anyone has their old heat shield lying around anywhere (2011/2012 models), I would love to buy it. I just bought a Two Brothers slip-on for 2011-2012's, but I have a 2013 FZ8. The heat shields are different and I would really like to have one once I mount up the new slip-on. Any takers?

I'm sure there are stock slip ons floating around. I have the 2013 too though. I think it's welded on the 2013 stock slip? I haven't checked recently.

There are most definitely a lot of stock mufflers floating around, but I would think that most people would have retained their heat shield. I found a couple carbon heat shields on ebay but I wouldn't mind paying less for a regular black one. |
