On behalf of the Owners/Admin and Moderators of this forum, I would like to welcome you to the FZ8 family.

This is a fun place, full of good info and good banter. Feel free to have a look around and if you like what you see, drop us a line and sign up.

This forum was founded by a group of like minded souls who love not just our 8's, but all bikes, so don't be intimidated if you dont have one.

If you are thinking of getting one, or have just bought one, we welcome all, from the most seasoned of riders, to the freshest.

Feel free to ask as many questions as you like, most of us have info or pics we are willing to share. This forum is a fairly new venture and we are growing very quickly, so if you dont find something you are looking for, please ask.

If you decide on becoming a member, please take a minute to introduce yourselves, we like to know who is running around our house. Also, if at all possible, post a pic or two of your ride, even if it's not an 8. You will get more feedback from members if you do.

Lastly, this forum is not "over moderated" and consequently, there will be the odd swear word here and there, so please be aware of that. You will not find any member bashing on here, or anything overly rude.

We hope you enjoy your time here and remember, the more you contribute, the more you will get out of your time here.

1) Welcome to our site. 

2) If you are new to the 8 we can help you with just about anything or know who to ask. If you don't want to search through old treads don't worry just ask and we have members that will answer anything (including the answer: I don't know but we can find it). I'm usually too lazy to search to and ask myself. 

3) You will notice that most of the older treads were created by just a fraction of the members as we started this site with just a few like minded (love the 8 and to mod it) and loyal friends.  Notice I said FRIENDS we started off as strangers and we are friends now.

4) We talk a massive amount of shit.  Offense is never intended, we're dudes and that's what dudes do

5) Be careful mods are addictive and its never really just one more

6) We don't care for rules much, just be a straight up person

I'll echo Shock's statements.

We have seen a huge influx of new members lately, and we know why.

For those of you who don't know, we started this site a year ago after we became friends on another forum that was perhaps not going in the same direction as we were.

We all had the same bike, although that has now changed. Some have been sold, some have been crashed, some have been stolen. But through all that, we have stayed together as a group.

We are still primarily an FZ site, with support, info and ideas on the 8. That will not change.

For those of you that want to let yourselves in the back door, look through our closets, dressers, and cupboards..feel free. We have nothing to hide. (well, we do, but we have a huge lock and a Rottweiler on that room). For those of you that want to join in the silliness, the bullshit and the banter...then our living room door is wide open. I promise you won't hurt any feelings and there is almost no censorship.

So, knock yourselves out. When we are not acting like cunts, we really have the best info, the most modded and the greatest 8 owners there are.

Let me add this. We have an introduction section that is required. Make one post, and you have access to most of our shit. If you choose to register, and then don't make a single post, which means you cannot see anything, I will delete your account in a week. Seriously, why bother to register, then don't do jack to see what you registered for...dumb as fuck.
If you manage to put on your 'big boy pants', and get through the registration process and make 1 single post..bravo, you can now see most of our shit...however, if you join, register and make 1 post, then don't come back for a month, don't expect us to wait for you..your account will be deleted.
Very simple, join and participate, even if that means just logging in and reading the crap we write..you don't have to join in, but you do have to be active.
There is nothing worse than a forum/site with hundreds of members, but only 10 active contributors...
I think our house has a fairly accurate membership count, and for some bizarre reason, I give a shit about that...rant over

The very least you could do is, join up and make your first post a pic of some boobs or some filthy porn for all to like. Then you can lurk in the darkest corners of the place...
Maybe log in and remind us what a bunch of wankers we are and how you think the c word is a stain on the English language

Or you could just jump on here, talk bikes and shoot the shit with like minded people from all over the world.
