yeah I'm right there with ya. The parts price doesn't seem too outrageous, its the custom tuning that gets expensive.

We have people that can manage the tuning for reasonable costs but I would have to get the map put on the ecu. We need Woody to hook up the mod and have turbo joe do his ecu so the rest of us and just ship the ecu.

This result is bad. On real dyno = 102whp (with bad timing.)

Either have a dyno tune made, or a power commander with auto tune and LCD screen so you can data log and tweak your map.

So if NicO only made 102, I would prob not go with his timing then. Didnt Dooms make like 109? I know mine was higher than that, but have no proof. Correct timing, and fueling this should put us up around 120. At least in the teens at a minimum. Huh for 102 you can just get a bad ass tune, do a little triming on the exhasut ports, a little honing on intake ports, and bad ass exhasut and make this. Damn.

So we are clear..have the ecu flashed AND a custom dyno tune or one or the other? My plan (if I was to do this) was have the shop with the dyno do the cams and have them figure tuning out

On even dyno i have 93WHP => 102,6WHP = +9,6WHP after me two R6 full passed= 101/102whp also (= about 120 HP at engine) But is the result at 102/104, i expect at more with new timing.

102/105 was the last timing I went with. My tune was not finished when I sold hte bike. Still needed some tweaking and I was learning more about low RPM tuning at that time and wanted to make some big changes in my tune. The kid I sold it to was gonna come back by so I could show him how to data log and tweak the map. But never heard from him again. I dont even think he has logged on since a week or so after I sold it.
