na da hab ich euch beide ja dazu gebracht euch hier im forum zu outen und am ende wohnt ihr noch im selben bundesstaat ;-)
ich mach dieses jahr bei der "diversity visa lottery" mit und hoffe mal das ich glück hab!
das sich an eurem deutsch was ändert ist doch klar, hatte mal ne bekannt die war 1 jahr auf schüleraustausch in texas, als sie zurück kam war fast kein deutsch mehr übrig. nur noch der lustige texanische dialekt :-)

squirrel? eichhoernchen. There that's the extent of my German. haha It really is a good bike. I've put almost 10,000 miles on mine in the last 4 months with no complaints. I use it as a work vehicle. No back pains but the seat sucks. Not too fast ( as if there is such a thing) but plenty of power.

all the attributes you guys were talking about are exactly what i am "searching" for, at the moment at least.
a bike with a nice power punch, great handling and no back pains because of the seat position like those.
but to be honest, the most important thing to me is how it looks. i am no speedfreak so i dont need to be the fastest of all on the "autobahn". i guess the FZ8 is just right for me and really sexy looking and i guess the only thing that could drive me away from the FZ8 is a naked "liter bike" thats affordable and even more sexy ;-)
a thing that i dont like considering the FZ8 is, that i heard "rumours" about it beeing discontinued by yamaha in the favour of the fz9...?!
i really dont understand why yamaha needs a three cylinder engine in their lineup so bad that they would abandon such a great selling bike like the fz8... maybe because they need to fight the rise of the "triumph speed tripple" ?!

The 8 has been discontinued and the MT branding will be the line they continue with now... I'm also guessing the FZ1 will be superseded by something in the MT range?

Only discontinued in u.s. But supposedly the new r1 will have a 1200 cc triple...
Surprisingly, the fz8 was or is not the best seller here. Most people in the u.s. Love their super sports...I'll take my fz8 all day any day

Hi everyone. new to this forum and hope to learn lots about the bike. I ride a 2013 FZ8. bone stock for now, but plan on a slip on and K&N filter. open to any recommendations or pitfall with these changes. I commute 90 miles a day on the bike and love it.
