Dude!!! Nooo. Lol. Fz1 swap would be nice but don't you have to also get new rotars and other parts? I dunno if the hyperpro progressive springs would fit in the fz1s... probably. Shit hopefully other people have them since a lot of people seem to be switching out. the springs will fit

Do fz1s only have the one fork with damping like the fz8? Do fz1 internals just drop into fz8 forks? I probably am gonna just stick to the suspension now but I am happy that the situation is normal since it's been scarying me! I was gonna drive on it anyways but just that mental doubt can ruins ones ride.

The internals on the FZ1 slit compression and dampening. The FZ8 forks are best described in the following article: www.cycleworld.com/2012/01/25/cycle-world-project-fazed-in-feature/

All normal...try your springs..(as you already have them and won't cost you anything) and ride it. No adjustments needed because the springs are doing everything..if you don't like it..get fz1 internals...pop in the hyper pro progressive springs..then you would have very nice front suspension...but the springs should be just fine...major improvement over stock..just like rear shock.
The fz8 is a budget bike..they saved money where they could..mostly on suspension

For sure. Yeah I was litterally one click away from buying another rod but I asked here. Just road on the new front. Feels a lot better. Riding here in 45 to 55 degrees now a days. Cold but fun. Surprised on these new diablo rosso 2 tires. Pretty damn grippy!

Perfect. Yes you will like that seat. I wish I could add the extra padding into the Shad . I've ridden all day on that seat without soreness. I have never rode on a stock seat though. Hopefully it makes a difference.

Hopefully it makes a difference. Got it on the bike tonight. Hoping for a ride soon. I'm not a sold on the smooth vinyl, but it is way to swap hardware and I can probably find a new cover.
