I stumbled upon this website and decided why not join another. The more info the better right?
I am from north Alabama and have only had the bike since April. First bike as well, wouldn't want anything different. There hasn't been much put onto the bike, mostly stock, but will be looking into some upgrades soonish. Whats a major first I should consider?
As i have, shorty levers, bar mirros, motodynamic light, coffman exhaust.
Good day

Welcome aboard mate and congrats on an awesome first bike! Sounds like you have the basic mods already but I'd recommend a tail tidy/fender eliminator, it cleans up the rear of the bike nicely. Depends what sort of riding you're doing as to what the first major mods could be... Upgrading your brake lines, suspension work or ECU flashing are good things to look into if you want improvement. Rear sets if you're looking at doing some knee dragging and even simple things like rear spools and a set of paddock stands so you can work on the bike? A lot of the guys retro fit the headlight, lED indicators, frame sliders or even get yourself some decent riding gear if need be? There is literally hundreds of mod options and you'll find most of them in here somewhere

I have thought about the tail tidy but my signals are within the taillight and i ziptied the plate up under so why spend the extra $$? lol What exactly is this ECU flashing, is it along the lines of those power commanders? I have those Givi engine guards on the way, pretty stoked about getting them.

Ditch stock bars and pick up some Renthal. Givi Engine guards are sweet! Haven't tested them out yet though... If anybody knows how well they work give me a shout...

Throttle tube mod and ecu flash Oh they did not but my team got beat by Miss State.... I am in the process of reading more on the Throttle Mod, figuring out what all I will need. What ECU flash is worth the money?? Also, I see that your called the "Light Man", are you able to help out with some lighting on the bike? I've been in the look for some to be more visible at night and you know, to look coool

I just noticed light man myself..lol I'm always willing to help out. Just hit me up when your ready
Easiest way to do the throttle mod is just buy a throttle tube for 2010 R6 and install. ($35 or so) Cheapest way is to do the pvc throttle tube mod which might cost you $10 and 1hr+ of your time.
I had the Ecunleased flash but recently switched to the Flash Tune like most on here. Contact TurboJoetuned and he'll be able to do it cheaper than you'll find else where.
