I've seen enough on TV about Sturgis to know that wild fucking horses couldn't drag me there. Such a high level of douche baggery in one place would cause my head to explode.

Springs are used to eliminate stress fractures that occur at welds and to provide movement within the exhaust system. Early two stroke expansion chambers were typically hand formed using mild steel, All the hammering into shape made them brittle, Springs allow movement while keeping the joints together. Modern exhaust are made with springs to allow easier repair/removal in racing scenarios. Also, many manufacturers use different gauge and sometimes metallurgy when assembling exhausts which expand and contract differently. Another factor is that even though bikes are manufactured with tight tolerances, there is always some degree of +/- tolerance. One more piece of the puzzle is chassis flex. All bike frame/chassis flex in concert with suspension. Again the springs allow for the flex rather than failure. Similar in theory of why airplane wings must flex. Too rigid under stress, the weakest point will fail, usually the wing strut (catastrophic) words from an old cunt. Be safe. Thos young cunt feels enlightened. Well I want Akra header so now I know why they are made the way they are.next questiom on my road of rants, questions, and comments. Who has actually been to Sturgis? I was visiting a friend today an older lady who I talk to and she said I was too young. She said 35 is the youngest suggested age and it's a time of pure Debauchery. She said this all while smiling. My dad and his buddy went 5-7 years ago..looked fucking insane..I guess Im 10 years too young lol...I still want to go...and ride all the way there...on my FZ8!

Now you are talking like a stoggy old Brit. Or is it because your afraid that you will have too much fun and want to go back? End up on a TV documentary as a bad example? The Queen would be disappointed.

That is what your looking for...idk if it is the correct pin size since he listed quite a few bikes..but he may have pins for all of them. that is an alright deal if shipping is free...you can get a brand new set for 100$ more (of the same ones) that being said..they are very sturdy construction and damn near impossible to break...so they should work perfect! one of my buddies has some that look they have been through the ringer...still hold the bike perfect

Pictures of my bike. Haven't done much. Fender eliminator. Replaced the tail light ao it has integrated turn signals. Toke off the mirror because I can never see shit in them anyways. And added frame sliders.

Do you ride on the track? If you are pushing suspensions to the limit on the road I may suggest you start questioning your safety.

My plan is to rode track starting spring or early summer next year. So now I'm just riding street and getting better at basic riding. Houston drivers help you learn to ride with the unexpected constantly happenig.
