New here, got my Fazer 8 last June, been on the other FZ8/Fazer8 forum. I assume Fazer 8 owners are welcome here, since a Fazer 8 is almost identical, other than the fairing. I'll post up a pic or two (pretty much stock, and heading towards touring-oriented) later. Just to add a little more detail: I live in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. My regular stomping grounds are the Niagara Peninsula, from where I live (Hamilton/Stoney Creek), down to Niagara on the lake (at the mouth of the Niagara river below Niagara Falls), and westwards up the Lake Erie coast from there as far as I care to go. There are a lot of interesting little roads east of my immediate area, due to my living on the Niagara Escarpment, about the only real hills in this area.

Welcome, Like the ride. Just picked up a Yamaha rack and Givi top box from another member. Just got to find some matching paint.

Welcome! I love Canadian people. I go up to Toronto every year to visit my cousins.

Cool, another Ontario Fazer guy. I'm in the KW area. Welcome aboard. Bike looks sharp.

Thanks, everyone.
Next up for my upgrades: must have a better seat. Also thinking about getting the Givi windshield, despite its relative ugliness, for more wind protection (for touring).
Performance-wise, I'd like to put a better rear shock on it - the stock one is OK, but after getting used to the Elka I had on my V-Strom - rebound and high and low compression damping adjustments, ride height adjustment, remote preload adjuster - I can definitely feel its shortcomings.
Oh, I've been thinking about ditching the "Fazer" logo and stripes from the fairing - I think they just look cheap, and it would look better clean and free of stripes and logos.
