Not to new to riding previously had a Virago. I think i moved up with the purchase of an 8 a week ago. Managed to get 100 miles on it this week which has been tough with work and weather, but am completly in love with this bike. I was looking at getting a new fz09 but this one has always looked way better to me. I only wish they had the underseat exhaust from the 6.

Congrats on the bike! I have had the 8 and now a 9. 9 is a much smaller feeling bike. If you are tall or a larger build the 9 is not a bike for you. Loved my 8. Put 32K miles on it in 3 years. Did a ton of mods to it and enjoyed the hell out of it while I owned it. Have fun, get to the mods and how to section, tons of ideas!!!!

As much as I want to keep the 8 forever I know we would have to part ways before she's too high.
