Hello everyone!
I am so stoked on the bike...even though I am broke after college now, I can at least ride around looking good 
Just a little back story...I grew up racing dirtbikes my whole life and watching my brothers racing CCS. I knew the day I could get a bike, I would. I have been waiting to get one after I graduated college because I went to school in LA, seemed like the shark tank of locations to learn to ride. So after moving and settling down a bit more I took the motorcycle safety class through CCMT and scoured Craigslist looking for a fun bike to ride that looked great! I don't think I could have found a better place to start than with the FZ8...that was in my budget! That is what blew my mind the most!
Anyway, look forward to posting here and would love any tips or tricks from you veterans!

Also driving in LA isn't that bad California has such nice twisty roads. I miss them at times.

Welcome and congrats on graduation! You're going to love the 8. We have a great bunch of guys on this site. You can find just about anything here but Porn and Politics, PeePee is not allowed. Look thru the old threads there is a ton of good stuff. Or you can do like the other educated people and just ask. Do let us know were you are located, we will get you on the map. Ride that bitch!

congrats, and.........congrats. Welcome to the coolest fucking forum you will ever encounter. Some answers to your questions may be harsh, but almost always true and what you need to hear. =) Some are dicks just cause its fun and some are dicks because their wives have taken it and they're mad. HA!
Seriously though, there are some great people here. Make yourself a good cup of Joe and get to reading. There's a lot of good info on here in the older posts. The mods do great at keeping the place clean of old junk. And also junk users who post one time and disappear, so don't be that guy. =)
Oh and he search is getting better but only by standards used in 1972, so it still pretty much sucks the donkey dick. So don't worry about asking questions that are often answered.
