I bought my new FZ8 one year ago this week, put about 1250 miles on it. Fairly new rider of just over 2 yrs. I joined the 779cc Forum last year but I have heard of this one here and there so I wanted to finally check it out.

let me be the first to welcome a fellow jersey guy. shouldve joined up over the summer, we did a nice meet up in bear mountain this past summer. it was a lot of fun. whereabouts in jersey are you if you dont mind me asking

let me be the first to welcome a fellow jersey guy. shouldve joined up over the summer, we did a nice meet up in bear mountain this past summer. it was a lot of fun. whereabouts in jersey are you if you dont mind me asking I know of you, Woody146, nighttime, Here's My Mind from the other forum. I know Jake2Wheels from his YouTube videos, it's neat coming on here and actually seeing familiar names. Anyway, I live in Middlesex County not far from Rt 287 in Bridgewater area. I don't get out much or with any advance planning, if anything I often postpone rides being a Stay at Home Dad- being at home is my job. Getting out is what keeps me sane. |

You mentioned the forum on a recent video about changing the throttle tube I think so I finally needed to check it out. |

I have been on Rt 1, GSP, 287, 206, 18....never been on Rt 130 or 27 while riding. I don't think I would have stopped for a crazed van or dump truck chasing after me  |

eh. Never got close enough to seem like it lol. Bike vs. Van/dumptruck = i lose every time lol. ive spotted two other fz8's in the area but idk who they are lol. and its only occasionally. one was down in avenal on rt 1 and the same one again in edison on rt 1 and the other was on 27 in new brunswick and once again on 130 in north brunswick. Lol i tried to get their attention cause i love meeting other fz8 owners especially in the area. But so far the only one close enough that i meet up with somewhat regularly is cxa. he is over in old bridge.
