Just picked up my '11 this evening. I'd been eyeing them for awhile, debating whether to get a used FZ8 or get a new FZ07. Then this one popped up on Craigslist a couple miles from my house with almost every mod I would want done to an FZ8 already installed. The price was fair, the owner was a real nice, honest guy, and it was as clean as any bike I'd seen in a showroom. I had to have it. Just had a blast riding it home. It's going to be a great riding season. Rob

Welcome and congrats. First bike? Either way I think you made a great choice with the modded 8 vs a stock 7. What kind of milage and price?

Welcome, looks as if you have a nice start. I wonder if it was from a former member. A few have sold their bikes this spring (wimps!). Join in on the fun. Where are you located? That looks kind of like an east coast plate.

That looks kind of like an east coast plate. I don't think he was on here. He only had it a year and didn't ride it much. I'm the 3rd owner, not sure who bought it originally. I'm in Philadelphia, PA. I guess I should add myself to the member map.

I caught a couple posts on your bike and I've got a nice list of questions for you. Ride safe!

Thanks for the suggestions. I've got to get some miles on the bike to really feel out where I feel the weaknesses are. So far I'm just enjoying it, but I'm sure suspension will have to be addressed eventually.

Suspension and tires, I did it backwards and did a crap load of farkle. Never again! Suspension is the first thing I'll ever do, it's so amazing like sexing every second of riding.
